Mission
Statement
The Mission of the Greater Menomonie Area Chamber of Commerce
is to foster partnerships and collaboration of all members in order
to promote business growth and the quality of life in our Dunn
County area.
Goals & Objectives
The Chamber’s goals and objectives are carried out through
the work of volunteer committees. When the need arises, a special
taskforce may be appointed to study a particular issue and make
recommendations to the Board of Directors. When warranted, task
force findings and recommendations may be presented to local government
leaders requesting policy changes resulting in positive community
changes. The Chamber’s goals are identified as:
- Provide, through networking opportunities, a flow of information
on area issues and needs.
- Foster the efforts of education and industry, commerce and
the professions in maintaining and strengthening a sound and
healthy
business climate in the Dunn County area.
- Create a broad
understanding and appreciation of the vast opportunities in
the Greater Menomonie Area and to promote
the advantages and
assets of our area and beyond.
It is only with the help
of many volunteers that the Chamber can meet its goals and
objectives.
